I'll Get the Chocolate, You Get the Milk. Follow Me!!

This is Lauren's mantra when she wants chocolate milk. She'll come in and say, "Momma, I would like some chocolate milk. OK? I'll get the chocolate, you get the milk. Follow Me!" This statement is a daily occurrence in our house, at least twice a day! She is just so cute when she says it, we can't help ourselves!

A shower of gifts

Last Saturday we gave my sister Ali a baby shower. It was quite fun. My friend Nena made a diaper cake, made of 112 diapers! It had a giggle monkey on the top that was too cute. It was really nice to feel the love and support of the ladies from church. Ali's mother in law and sister in law came with her to enjoy her special day. Kelsie, Ali's sister in law, is also pregnant. She is due two weeks before Ali! It was quite a hoot to have two lovely pregnant ladies at my house at the same time. Ali received some wonderful gifts, including a quilt from Nana (Brandon's mom) and a glider bassinet for the table. I think everyone had a wonderful time. My favorite part was to have my two sisters with me together, which does not happen very often.

Today is the Day

Today is the day that I decided to actually try to blog! So, Hello and welcome. I have no idea how often I will post or what we will talk about, but maybe, just maybe, this might be interesting. Occasionally the dogs might take over the computer and post their thoughts too.
