She got her first library card. She was so excited!Allen took the girls a few weeks ago, and she requested that she have her own card. Today we had a little time after school before Allen got home, so we went to the library. Anna filled out the paper all by herself and they handed her a card. Then she went to the children's desk and they gave her a certificate to commemorate the
day. When we were ready to go with our shopping basket full of books, and once I remembered what our PIN number was, we checked out. Our library has this cool thing at the self-checkout where you can place a stack of books (up to 9) on this pad and it automatically scans them and you're done. Very user friendly! Now anyone can check out a book with ease (unless you forget your PIN!). 
We came home and Anna sat down to read. I asked her to turn around to take a picture, and she told me not to bother her because she was reading! Ahh, music to my ears!
